Here we have the premiere of a new orchestra recently formed in Berlin. The 24th of June, 2010, the Berlin Improvisers Orchestra
had the first meeting with Ricardo Tejero & Alison Blunt(as conductors), and Dominic Lash & Javier Carmona , all of them from London Improvisers
Orchestra.
Three months later BERIO performed again at Wendel in The Not Applicable Artists Festival... in an evening of large scale improvisation
curated by Anna Kaluza, featuring "Axiom for improvising ensemble" by Isambard Khroustaliov and several other directed and non-directed pieces.
We want to give special thanks to Sam Britton who recorded and shared with us this concert, and to Maurizio Ravalico and all of artists
and organizers involved in The Not Applicable Artists Festival
in Berlin.
