Clement Edouard & Sheik Anorak
"LOUP started in early june 2010. This duo was born to play with Rangda (Chris Corsano, Ben Chasny and Sir Richard Bishop) at Grnd Zero in Lyon on june 8th 2010.
I (Sheik Anorak) was supposed to improvised with other musicians from Grnd Zero as an opening for Rangda, but instead I asked Clement to start a new improv/free jazz duo. And then LOUP was born".
LOUP can be considered as an avant-garde free jazz duo. The meeting of jazz background (Clement Edouard) and noise (Sheik Anorak). LOUP is beyond jazz and beyond noise, something like a link between
comtemporary music, free jazz and art....something like"comtemporary art/jazz".

BEST BEFORE UNU | Live animation & electronics
"Intensive electronics found a visual counterpoint in the moving images, generating complex sonic-visual formations. While audio frequencies are analysed and passed into image motions, which in turn feed
back to the music, a never ending circulation of influence travels in both directions. A journey through morphing landscapes and imaginary organisms, stimulating the audience
to continuously perceive new associations."
Ohrengala (March 2011 - ) is a regular experimental serie organised at Bei Roy and curated by
The main idea of the series was to bring a wide spectrum of musicians and sound concepts in a monthly
event mixture of electroacoustic, conceptual improvisation and noise music...
Bei Roy is not the typical venue only for experimental
music. It's a chance to offer interested people this form of music in a hopefully good way.
After an invitation to join the series as collaborators in february 2012, Julian Bonequi and Audition Records
supported the Ohrengala series as promoters and associate curators.
